Mission driven

We ensure that if we commit to a project we fulfil that promise. We are a professional firm rather than a charitable enterprise but we still want to have a positive impact on our community and the world around us.

Supporting causes that are important to us

We act for charities in a professional capacity and many of us volunteer for charities and associations personally. The firm has implemented a ‘charitable time off’ policy so each of us can volunteer for a local project for up to a week per year at full pay. We support good causes financially, through donations linked to our workplace activities during the year, such as recognised charity days, and through activities that also contribute to team wellbeing, such as firm-sponsored walking and cycling challenges. We also trade with small businesses, local suppliers, ESG-driven entities and even clients where our custom can help to sustain and support them.

Reducing our impact on the environment

We are working to make changes and improve our practises so the firm is more environmentally sustainable. We recognise there is always more to be done and it is also important to go on an educational journey together too. We are taking steps towards being a net-zero firm and welcome input from across the firm, from our clients and contacts on how to make a more sustainable future.

Supporting and encouraging clients’ environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts

Our success in implementing socially responsible policies enables us to support clients’ own efforts towards improving environmental, social and governance performance. Our recommendations increase awareness among those who are starting out on this journey. We share our experiences and have real ideas to offer our clients.
