About

Stephen is a Chartered Secretary and Chartered Governance Professional. He qualified after joining the firm in 1996, and is a member of the Chartered Governance Institute, and of the Institute of Directors.

Stephen oversees the firm’s company secretarial function and is involved in all aspects of company secretarial compliance and administration, as well as administration more generally for other types of client such as estates. Stephen’s company secretarial skills have been honed on a full range of company types and transactions. He also has a keen interest in and has worked on many of the firm’s charity clients and has broad experience encompassing their set up, everyday compliance and administration, financial reporting and advising on matters of corporate governance and general policy.

Educated at Ipswich School and The University of Edinburgh, when not in the office Stephen is probably to be found in an art gallery or exhibition; behind an easel, brush in hand, listening to jazz; or on the Suffolk coast.
